Release notes
3.0 preview
Development update: September 24, 2026. These features are in prerelease testing and are not part of the current public download.
- Create Notes from Markdown with native, editable checklist items and tables.
- Read native Notes tables as rows and cells, and inspect which advanced Notes actions your Mac supports.
- Analyze SVG drawings before importing supported content as editable strokes. Review reported differences before accepting an approximate import.
- Paper drawing creation and stroke recovery remain experimental and are still being validated. They are not ready for general use.
- Preview native append and prepend changes before applying them, and retry the same Smart Folder creation without creating duplicates.
Advanced Notes actions depend on macOS compatibility and permissions. iCloud synchronization is being tested separately. See the Notes preview guidance.

- The retired self-hosting option is removed, with cleanup of the app's old tunnel and stored API token.
- Signed updates and downloads are hosted on applecore.app.
Hosted access remains an invitation-only beta. The planned USD 4.99 monthly subscription is not available for purchase yet.
